Reprana Yoga Founder/Instructor
My name is Rebecca Elston and I have been a student of Yoga, in various forms, since 2006, more recently wanting to share my experience and the benefits of yoga through teaching.
I started practising, as most do, by attending a local class on a drop in basis. From there my love for yoga, and what it could do for me, grew and grew until Reprana was born! Prana in sanskrit loosely transates to 'life force' (or energy), practising yoga allows the flow of this energy, balancing us. 'RE' being my initials and representing the fact that, in the western world, we need to 're-energise' and 're-balance' ourselves and our prana from time to time.
I have an interest in Hatha, Yin, Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow styles of yoga and use all of these in my own practice. I teach Hatha Yoga, with influences from all of the styles I use personally, as have found this is a great way into yoga for many beginners and helps more experienced students tailor yoga to work their way.
